This is one of the assets of the Côte d’Azur, fine sand and pebbles scattered along the coast. In Antibes, from Garoupe beach to Gravette beach, via Salis beach or fake silver beach, discover our favorites spots to chill your feet in the water from the first rays of sunshine!

La Salis beach

less than 1 minute walkin from La Jabotte It is one of the main public beaches in Antibes, the Salis beach has that taste of escape dear to holidaymakers with its white sand and its breathtaking view of the Garoupe lighthouse, the ramparts of old Antibes and the mountains that we can see far away.

We practice nautical activities as paddle boarding or we prefer spending the day on the hot sand to sunbathe and have lunch with a “Pan Bagnat”, bought in one of the most famous kiosks for this specialty of local food, at Josy.

La Garoupe beach : paradise is here !

It’s hard to resist the turquoise waters of this paradisiacal beach on the edge of Cap d’Antibes. The Garoupe beach, a mixture of pebbles and sand, is a real enchantment next to the famous private beach Keller. Overlooking the bay of La Garoupe, this beach in the public space remains exclusive as it can accommodate few people but good news, in summer, it is possible to reserve your blue and white mattress for the day for 11 € on the site from the city of Antibes.

Gravette beach In the city center

Nestled under the ramparts, in the heart of the city, Gravette beach is the ideal spot for a swim after shopping or visiting old Antibes and the billionaires’ quay, a few steps away. Protected from the wind, this fine sandy beach is ideal for families, as it is peaceful and far from the road. After your swim, do not forget to take a walk on the ramparts, to discover just above, the enigmatic Nomade de Jaume, this monumental sculpture jagged with white letters that watches over the port of Antibes.

The beach of Ondes: Head for the Cape!

On the outskirts of Juan les pins, lined with exceptional villas, the Plage des Ondes is one of Antibes ‘jewels for its magical view of the Cap d’Antibes, the port of Olivette and the villa Aujourd’ hui, a modernist house, built in 1938 on behalf of a wealthy American. Recognizable by its tower and its stones in the crystal clear waters that undulate along the road, the Plage des Ondes is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in Antibes.

The bay of billionaires: the dream within reach

At the Bottom of the Eilen Roc villa in Cap d’Antibes, the bay of billionaires or cove of fake money, is the ideal place for picnics and diving in turquoise water. It is said that in good weather, this place offers silver reflections which would explain the name given to this bay, a veritable corner of paradise, where the Mediterranean vegetation and the panorama have made billionaires dream. No sand for this secret beach in Cap d’Antibes, but a platform and a ladder that allows easy access to this natural swimming pool in the middle of the rocks just after the first pebble beach. To get there, it is via the very famous avenue Mrs Beaumont that you will have to take the small path that goes down to the sea.

Fort Carré: under the pebbles, the beach!

A beach of several kilometers and uncrowded? Direction Fort Carré beach after the Fontonne district in Antibes and towards Villeneuve-Loubet. This pebble beach, the largest in Antibes, offers a breathtaking view of the Baie des Anges. Along the road, it is easy to park in one of the free car parks below Fort Carré or along the beach.

The coves of Cap d’Antibes: wild beaches

Do you prefer the charm of coves to sandy beaches? In Cap d’Antibes, many of them hide along the coast and some are even famous for clinking glasses in front of the silhouette of old Antibes as soon as the aperitif comes! To discover them, from La Jabotte, all you need is a short walk, bike ride or tuk tuk towards Cap d’Antibes.
