Chronicle #12 : Steve and Seagul present the Antibes weather forecast
Live from the rooftop of La Jabotte,
Steve and Seagul, our resident seagulls, deliver the Antibes weather forecast, unfiltered and always with a sense of flair.
Sunshine.
Predictable, constant, almost royal.
Here, the sun often rises before you, works longer than you, and keeps shining even when you no longer expect it.
Wind.
Gentle in the morning, playful at midday, almost philosophical by evening.
When it blows harder, it is wise to avoid ambitious hats, unsecured umbrellas and overly light conversations.
Rain.
Rare, spectacular, useful.
It lasts just long enough to rinse the bougainvillea, freshen the air and amuse the seagulls.
It is also the perfect reminder that your umbrella stayed in London.
Night.
Soft, scented, star filled.
At La Jabotte, night falls like a caress.
Even the seagulls fall silent. Almost.
At La Jabotte, we do not really check the weather.
We read it from the rooftop, in the sound of the wind and the rhythm of wings.
And when in doubt, simply follow Steve and Seagul.
They are rarely wrong and always stylish.

About La Jabotte
La Jabotte is a small boutique hotel hidden just 60 meters from the sea.
A secret garden, a peaceful atmosphere, and a slower rhythm — a place where evenings feel softer, quieter, and a little outside of time.
